Antique Dome Steamer Trunk

Antique Dome Top Steamer Trunk – Circa 1890 – 1910

A lovely dark steamer trunk with wooden support slats which feature round iron studs. Iron lifting handles to both sides and detailed iron edging.

Would have been originally used as a railway or shipping trunk for carrying possessions of wealthy travelers during the late 1800’s.

This steamer chest would make a fabulous addition to any bedroom, at the bottom of the bed as a storage chest, please see our inspiration images for ideas of what it could look like in your home. Could also be used as a feature in a hallway or living room.
