One of our favourites!

A lovely large antique steamer trunk with wooden support slats and leather banding which feature small round iron studs. The leather handles have unfortunately perished due to the age of the trunk. Look at the detail and workmanship to the closing clasps and lock escutcheon, a really special antique steamer trunk.

All of our vintage antique wooden chests, trunks and blanket boxes are old, often over 100 years old and will therefore show signs of use which we feel add to the character and appeal of the item. They will have knocks and scrapes consistent with age, many of our chests and trunks have sailed the seas and travelled to far continents carrying precious family possessions.
