Large Antique Trunk – 1897

A fantastic large antique trunk, complete with original lining and manufacturer label in perfect condition dated 1897. Also has the original document holder inside with leather closing band. The detail and workmanship to the leather banding, studs and closing clasps is exceptional, this would have belonged to a very wealthy individual at the time as this is a top of the range trunk.

Unfortunately due to the age of the chest the leather lifting handles on the sides have now perished.

This antique trunk offers lots of storage space and would make a real statement in your home.
