A lovely Chinese trunk with large brass lock decoration to the front and brass handles to either side.

Stunning antique Chinese black lacquer trunk.

A lovely Chinese trunk with large brass lock decoration to the front and brass handles to either side.

After doing some research we think it likely dates from the early 1900’s. Has the original makers stamp to the inside lid of the trunk.

Please note there are some marks and scuffs to some of the corners which can be seen in the images.

This Chinese trunk would make a fabulous addition to any living room, or could be used at the bottom of the bed as a storage chest, please see our inspiration images for ideas of what it could look like in your home.
